Certifications and Insurance
JZAerial Inc. carries $5 million commercial general liability insurance for our operations.
We are holders of the Pilot Certificate – Small Remotely Piloted Aircraft (Visual Line Of Sight – VLOS) With Advanced Operations and Flight Reviewer Ratings.
These ratings allow us to operate within city limits and in close proximities to airports.
In Canada, there are two main categories of drone operations: Basic and Advanced. Each one has a different set of rules drone pilots must follow. The rules do not treat people who fly drones for fun or for business differently.
Our team also holds the Civil and Commercial Unmanned Aerial System Safety Training Course Certificate from the Canadian Centre for Unmanned Vehicle Systems (CCUVS), the Restricted Operator Certificate with Aeronautical Qualification (ROC-A) from Industry Canada, and successfully completed the Pre-Solo Test of Air Regulations (PSTAR).
